Do students have the same rights as adults?

We’ve talked about PDA’s (Public Displays of Affection) and rights; what rights do students have? Many adults say that rights don’t take full effect until responsibility is assumed by becoming a legal adult. What do you think? Can you have one without the other? If you are not legally responsible for your actions, how can you assume the rights that those who are responsible for their actions have?
